It is an all French concert with Michael Van Why, tenor, and Sheri Mignano Crawford, Accordion. We call ourselves "Les Bisous Gitans" or Gypsy Kisses.
We provide free concert tickets for caregivers, social workers, educators and charity volunteers to help support them and their community.

Bio:
Ione Angeles, has been in the Reggae scene for over twenty years. While living in Jamaica in the 90's, she joined with Legendary Soul Syndicate Drummer Max Edwards and formed their band TENGEH. For more than ten years they toured and lived in Europe. Durring that time they recorded two albums,Tengeh in 1995, and Ascension 2012 in 1998. Upon returning to the States, She became a soloartist, and has recorded and performed with many Bands and Artists.

A "djiin" is a mischievous spirit sometimes confined in a bottle due to reprehensible acts. Dgiin (pronounced Gin) is a 4 piece band, mixing musical styles from funk to latin and reggae. It is sometimes described as melodic french grooves due to the majority of songs that are in french.
